Having read the reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to book this hotel through a booking company. Unfortunately although we had paid and had a comfirmed reservation the hotel was not open. It says to contact the owners with your arrival time as they are not a 24/7 establishment. However we tried ringing from 8pm the night before until 2pm on the day of stay ( Friday ) and each time the number was diverted to a mobile with no message service. We left voicemail messages and even posted a note thriough the door on the day of our arrival but we got no response. Our booking company refused to refund or find us an alternative until 4pm. Leaving us at a Christmas lunch with no idea if we had anywhere to stay! We arrived at the hotel at 4pm which was now open to be told we had no reservation and the owners were away. I was hoping that the owners may have contacted us sincce to apologise/explain but it has been a week and we have heard nothing although they have our number. I am posting this to recommend to others that you speak directly to the owners when making a booking. Out of interest we tried their own website during the day and it would have accepted a booking - with no mention of it being closed. I am sure it is a lovely place and I am disappointed we were not able to stay.

My husband and I stayed last October for one night. What a lovely clean place, the bedroom was spacious and had everything you need. We were asked to order what we liked for breakfast the night before. We were given a sheet to tick and could have as much as we wanted. The breakfast table was in a beautiful conservatory overlooking the rear garden. There was a toaster on each table which was a lovely touch and allowed us to have lovely warm toast. It was situated well for the centre only a 10 minute walk. We would definately go here again.

About ten minutes walk from the part of Norwich with the greatest appeal, this B&B was ideal for us. It is quiet, friendly, offers a lovely full English breakfast. The owners appear totally committed to getting it right. The house is beautiful. We highly recommend it.

My partner and I spent one night at the guest house which we found to be a really comfortable stay, the room was very clean and even though we were on the front of the house by the road we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was very good and the owners were friendly. Was good value for money and close to the city centre would recommend to others and would stay there again!

We booked with Lastminute.com and got the double bedroom without bathroom. In fact, the bathroom was just accross the hall and it was exclusive to our bedroom (we could keep the door locked so no one else could use it). The owners are friendly and the place is very clean.
They did not have vegetarian sausage and I found that the breakfast food was not enough to make me satisfied. I would stay there again, though.
