“A real piece of olde England”
Reviewed 10 November 2013

A quiet place, ideal for photography, etc. Good to see that the whole area looks well cared for but also really used - not a dry museum piece.

Olde Worlde and very pleased to see effort has gone into maintaining it this way.
be prepared to walk on cobbles so no highheels!
Take time for a real cuppa in the tea shop which is tucked away but very pleasant

“Stroll into the past”
Reviewed 27 October 2013 via mobile

A beautiful old cobbled street in Norwich, some quaint shops and a lovely atmosphere.
Was amazed this is not pedestrianised like many other central streets of Norwich though!

“step back in time”
Reviewed 12 October 2013

A walk along Elm Hill is a walk in Elizabethan England. The shops are all just as they were, no modernisation thankfully. You can almost feel the people of that era, walking alongside you, going about their business. Well worth a visit if you love history,

“One of the historic gems of England”
Reviewed 8 October 2013

This is just a must see.....a walk back in time.

A lot of small shops, but the actual architecture and the history of the area is what its all about.

For ladies, wear flat shoes. The cobblestones are not easy to walk on.
