“Wonderful house and gardens”

House is well worth a visit, but the highlight for me was the walled garden. It is the biggest and most beautiful I have seen anywhere.

“What a surprise!”

Definitely worth a visit. Not as grand as some places but certainly one gets a good idea of the living conditions which I think were very cold!

“Excellent walled garden next to lovely house”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 August 2014

Lovely example of a National Trust house. Well laid out and with lots of amazing artefacts from lots of Grand Tours!! The room volunteers were full of information and very helpful.

The walled garden was amazing with fantastic specimen as far as the eye can see. Lovely!
