This outstanding center is a bit away from downtown, so either take a bus or a cab to reach the University of East Anglia (UEA) campus. The gallery juxtaposes modern pieces with older works in a way that manages to shed light on both. It is a wonderful collection that includes the famous and not-so-famous. Do yourself a favor and get a guided tour to obtain the real flavor of the Centre. Worth the trip.

“great place for activities and a little lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 June 2014

I rate this place as one of my favourites also with plenty to do, as the UEA has a recreational facility with climbing and sports park. with a cafe that sells cakes and light lunches with teas and coffees within it's complex, and also on the grounds is a wonderful museum which is free, and has many great artworks and artefacts. there is also grounds for a picnic and great views with a lake and a place to run and explore.

“A gem in Norwich.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 June 2014

A beautiful, stylish building set in the university grounds. The collection is eccentric, beautiful and fascinating. I notice something different every time I go.
It's also a lovely place to have lunch, mainly for the fabulous view through the glass wall looking out over the gardens and river.

“Great place with a wonderful collection”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2014

Such a special place with a wonderful permanent collection on display. The space is very restful and they have some real gems to see…….Henry Moore, Degas all mixed with artefacts from around the world.

There is a nice cafe, shop and often great visiting exhibitions through out the year.

All set in a very nice part of the Uni near a lake, which you can walk around too.
