“Nice Hotel, good value”

We stayed for one night before our boating trip to Norfolf Broads. Classic Holiday Inn. Good Service, Good Size family room with all the usual HI trimmings. Younger kids eat free, and to evening meal was excellent and great value.

Would definately stay at this Holiday Inn again.

We stayed at this hotel with friends for a couple of nights. The hotel was a typical Holiday Inn - quite comfortable and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. The pool area was very good with steam room, sauna and jacuzzi.

The only fault we found was the exorbitant prices in the restaurant. We had to stay in for the first night as we were waiting for another couple - £13 each for fish and chips!!!! And not that spectacular. It wasn't a question of choosing something cheaper - there was nothing cheaper! Equally the prices in the bar are steep - a pint of bitter, a pint and a half of lager and a wine came to over £16. If you do want an evening meal there is a pub about a 5-10 minute walk away called The Marsh Harrier. We went there on the second night and the food is brilliant and half the price.

Having said that about the restaurant in the evening, the breakfast was excellent.

Stayed just one night but was so very impressed with the staff and the hotel in general. It was conveniently located. Service was excellent. I left my scarf in the restaurant and called them when I got home to ask if it had been found. Immediately the member of staff located my scarf and posted it back to me to my home address with a couple of days. I would highly recommend this hotel, it really was fantastic value.

this was great stay good room and facilities and a great price but the main let down for us was the ridiculous prices of the the restaurant at night. We where meeting family there and where going to eat there but we didnt everyone else must have thought the same because the restaurant was empty such a waste and an inconvenience having to drive again after a four and half hour drive. The pool looked great and the gym facilities and we will go back being prepared not to eat there at night

It’s great to see that you enjoyed your stay and our facilities. I do take on board your comments in reference to the pricing of our menu. May I take this opportunity to say we also have a specials board with other excellent dishes at promotional prices that I hope you will be able to take advantage of on your next visit.

Having never been to Norfolk before we found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful from the lovely hotel receptionist who welcomed us on our arrival yesterday, to the equally welcoming and helpful receptionist in the very well equipped Gym with swimming pool etc... to the evening staff in the restaurant and bar, especially Chloe and Lucy who worked late into the night and were back in this morning to serve breakfast. By the way the evening meal was excellent as was the full English and Continental breakfast with plenty of choice. The hotel rooms are very comfortable, tastefully decorated with everything you could possibly need and despite being not far from the main road into Norwich, extremely quiet.
Excellent value and an absolute must if you are a visitor to the area.

Only stayed the one in an Executive family room after a party in the afternoon nearby. Looks a bit "70s" from the outside but lots of free parking and much better inside.
Check-in was quick and friendly.
Room was clean and well decorated with a twin sofa-bed for the kids. For Executive I don't think the room is any bigger - you just get a few extras like free mineral water, robes/slippers, a minibar and better toiletries. No biscuits but a KitKat Chunky - second time I've seen this now - must be a trend. Modern if smallish bathroom with bath and shower.
The leisure facilities were better than average for this type of hotel with a good sized pool, jacussi, steam room and roomy gym area. Changing rooms were good and at the times we went (early Saturday evening/after breakfast Sunday) we were virtually alone in the pool.
Breakfast was the usual hot/cold buffet but of a good quality/quantity. Only thing I would prefer is a choice of fresh crusty bread/rolls in addition to the sliced toaster bread.
We didn't eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good, not cheap but average prices for this type of hotel.
Check out was quick and easy.
Would easily recommend this hotel - the kids sofa beds left little floor space in the room but perfectly acceptable for a night or two. It was very clean and all the staff were helpful and friendly.

Thank you for your feed back concerning the hotel. It’s great to receive feedback such as this. Our hotel is just about to undergo a new re-branding programme, part of which will see the outside of the hotel installed with our new Holiday Inn logo, which we hope will improve the look outside. Inside our team are under going a 5 week service programme called STAY REAL to enhance our service levels, with genuine service. It would be great if on your next return you could comment if you have seen a difference. Thank you for your kind comments regarding the team. I know this makes a difference to them. Once again many thanks for your feed back. As the new General Manager of the hotel, your feed back is valuable to me.

Stayed at this hotel, arriving Christmas eve, and departing on Boxing Day. onn bed and breakfast basis. The Hotel is very much Holiday Inn, smallish bedroom but very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were super, with good variety. The hotel was busy with 2 coaches but staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had Christmas dinner in the Marsh Harrier, (300 yards from the hotel) and that was excellent. Overall the stay was very good
