This is worth the £4.30 per adult to get in and as a family of 4 adults with a 3 year old little boy he loved it's while we were there we saw a few flights from the airport take off and land and the tea room is a hidden gem in the museum and worth the £1 for a cup of tea (you get two per pot). If you get the chance to go on the tour of the nimrod as well. We found it very informative and very interesting. Would recommend it to anyone even just to look at the mostly military planes. There is a few of the civil aviation planes but that's all. The staff were very helpful and we will be back again.

We came to look at this place after plenty of positive reviews and can see why loads to see but thought price for adults a bit high considering amount of time spent looking around only dissapointing none of the planes available to view inside which would have made the trip complete if you have a child who like to see planes not a bad afternoon out but no more

Whilst we were in the area we passed this museum and decided to visit. What a hidden gem this museum is - entry is cheap at £4.30 and then there are the excellent optional tours of both the Nimord and Vulcan at an amazing £1.50 a head which I really recommend.

Visiting on a cold Sunday November afternoon proved to be a blessing in disguise as we got to spend a lot of time with the volunteers and in the planes themselves.

The Museum consists of a number of exhibition rooms, with displays covering the history of the RAF in Norfolk from the outset and the role of foreign service personnel especially during the War years. The displays are well laid out, informative and numerous. Outside there are a number of planes within their collection but the highlight for me was being able to sit in the pilots seat of the Vulcan (be warned you have to climb a ladder for this experience so it would not be suitable for people with mobility issues). The volunteers are incredibly informative and make this experience with their knowledge and passion.

There is a small gift shop and cafe on site (all the site is flat and easily accessible to those with mobility issues).

I wouldn't say this is the best aviation museum in the country, but for what it is and how this is staffed and run it is well worth a visit.
