I'm allergic to nuts, so cant really review the Thai food restaurant area of the bar. However, a wonderful place to have a drink and no riff raff! Highly recommended

A traditional English pub. We popped in for a light lunch and encountered spirited, friendly locals. The food, while not elaborate, was satisfying. This is right across the road from the Maids Head hotel.

Happened across this restaurant at 1230pm on a Saturday and decided to try it for lunch - so glad we did. It's basically a pub that does Thai food - good ale selection and even better food. We had a set one course lunch for £5.95 and it was hot, very tasty and an ample portion. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely return on our next visit to Norwich

We stumbled across this pub whilst shopping and as were feeling pecking decided to give it a go.

The Thai menu was quite extensive and so tempting we decided upon a lunch time special for £8.95 which included a 'starter' dish and 'main' dish but bought all together on a plate with little separated sections.

As we were the only two in the pub we did consider whether we had made a mistake... but our meals were served quickly by very friendly staff, were piping hot and well presented. Both meals were extremely flavoursome and very authentic.

Needless to say, we were extremely impressed and would recommend and return.

One downside, it was the first sunny day of the year but inside it was very dark.

Went here last Saturday with friends for drinks only. Its clearly a popular pub and very nice decor inside with a goid mix of age groups. Peroni and Aspall Cider on draught so I was happy! Drinks prices arent particularly cheap but youre paying for a nice pub with premium drinks. An ideal place to go on a date orvwith your partner.
