We booked very last minute, and managed to find this gem! The pub it is attached to was lovely; friendly people and very welcoming. The room was luxurious and spotless, the bathroom lovely, and the continental breakfast left in the room was tasty. I would definitely recommend and am sure we will visit again.

We came on the train from London for the weekend early October 2013

Taxis are cheaper than getting the bus for two people and this is well situated for access to the city.

Staff all very pleasant and helpful.

The decor in the room is quite dated and there was no extractor fan in the shower room.

The breakfast supplied was very generous.
We would stay again.

Lovely B&B situated over a a nice local pub (great selection of draft beers!) where we were warmly greeted by the landlady and show our room. The room was spotlessly clean and very well kitted out. Breakfast was a continental breakfast that is put in your fridge each day when the room is cleaned so you can have breakfast in bed each morning at your leisure. With it being only a 20 minute walk into the centre of the city and free designated B&B parking round the back, I recommend it to anyone taking a break in Norwich.

Stayed at the Lord Rosebery for a couple of nights prior to exploring the north norfolk coast, and we`re so glad we did. First impressions are deceiving as from the exterior it looks just what it is, a nice local pub, but once inside you find that the accomodation is what you`re hopeing for, clean, modern, and comfortable at a very reasonable price. Robert, the man in charge, cannot do enough to make your stay a pleasureable one, would we return, you betcha,

Room Tip: if you decide to pass on the continental breakfast provided and eat at the blue boar inn instead you...

I can only reiterate what the other reviews already claim. Set in a residential road, first impression is of a typical local pub and nothing special. However on being shown to our room, we were most impressed with the standard of décor, the facilities and the cleanliness. And being offered a complimentary full English breakfast at a sister pub in addition to the continental breakfast hamper already in your room was a bonus and a nice touch. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and for £60.00, this was an absolute bargain.

What a fantastic find! Lovely room, comfy bed, great shower, spotlessly clean - and yes! an iron and ironing board! Not that i go on my jollies to iron, but such a novelty! Very quiet and the breakfast hampers were fun! Rob, the landlord was an absolute star! Nothing too much trouble and a mine of information - thank u for the maps! Will definitely stay again. Norwich is a total nightmare to drive round so sat nav is nxt purchase! Try the 10 Bells pub - 30 different gins and counting! Ali Tandoori is a reasonable curry house on Magdalen Rd and Yellow taxis on 905090 are very prompt and reliable.

Everything about this place was great. Very clean in the room and the pub. Everything I needed for my stay was there. Staff are really lovely. The local people are very nice too. I can't fault the place. I look forward to going back. 10 out of 10 for me.

Room Tip: The one thing I loved the must was how quiet it was in the room. I had the window all night as it wa...
