Stayed for one night with our 5 month old. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival. The kitchen was shut for the week so we weren't able to sample the hot food but the continental breakfast provided in the room was very nice.

Stayed for a weekend visiting friends. The room was very pleasant and comfortable. The bathroom was nice, and spacious. Also the 'breakfast in the room' meant that we could have a lie in without worrying about missing breakfast.

In terms of location, it was about 15/20 minutes brisk walk from the city centre - and so had the advantage of being away from city centre noise.

This is a great place to stay if you are visiting Norwich for work or pleasure. All the staff at the Lord Roseberry were fantastic and extremely helpful. Unfortunately the chef was away so cannot comment on the food. However on both nights Rob and Claire gave us some fantastic top tips on where to eat. The rooms are tastefully decorated and I slept really well on both nights.

Worth every penny and would recommend.

Thanks for a great stay

Room Tip: I stayed in Rm 4 which was very nice

My husband and I were in Norwich for the weekend for a Comedy Golf Classic and, after browsing on line, we very much liked the sound of this pub. After speaking to Rob, who was very nice, I booked a room for one night. We were not disappointed. The room was lovely and well furnished and the bathroom was spacious and airy. The hamper breakfast was delicious, comprising croissants, muffins, yoghurts, fruit juice, water, muesli and another cereal. In addition, there were tea bags and a cafetiere of coffee and fresh semi-skimmed milk. A very nice touch included some yummy chocolate chip, chocolate and orange chip and shortbread oatmeal cookies. This was a first for us in a B & B and were very welcome. The staff were very friendly and although we could hear customers talking outside, it didn't bother us at all and we slept well. It wasn't walking distance from the city centre, as we had been told, but the very helpful landlord was going that way and he kindly gave us a lift. Both he and his wife were charming people and I would definitely recommend The Lord Roseberry.

Room Tip: Although we could hear people talking, it did not disturb us unduly and for a change we had a fairly...

After a long train journey into Norwich, I was pleased to arrive at this pub. The rooms is above the pub and very tastefully decorated. The bed had crisp sheets. The bathroom was clean and roomy. I had no problem with pub noise. Breakfast was placed in the room and consisted of a muffin, croissant, muesli, cornflakes, yoghurt and fruit. The finding of ground coffee and the cafetiere was lovely. If I had the transport, I could have had hot breakfast at a sister pub. However I was more than happy with what I had. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Good room and very convenient location for a walk into the city.

Continental Breakfast left in room was more than adequate and the fridge enables the chilling of wine or beer.

No bath but a spacious and well-appointed shower.

We just stayed here last weekend and found the hotel good on many counts... the rooms were nice and clean, as was the shower room. Location is just a short cab drive from the centre (approx £7.00) and the pub closes at 11:00 so no issues with rowdy drinkers etc.

The only gripe I have (value for money-wise) is that one of the reasons we chose the Rosebury was the FREE breakfast... only problem is that you have to travel approximately 2 miles to an affiliated pub to get it AND is only served between 8:00 and 10:00am. So not really an option if you like a lie in on your ”away weekends”.

That said there is some light snacks (croissants and cakes etc) in the room... but they’re no substitute for a good old fry up!

Staff seemed really nice too BTW

Room Tip: Make sure you visit the Cathederal - it’s a really tranquil and interesting hour or so AND if you’re...
