I was recommended this hotel as it was close to our friends' wedding venue at the Norwich Arts Centre and very good value for money. My husband and I thought staff, the hotel and its cleanliness etc. were all excellent and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Norwich. It isn't very far from the old city centre and its square where a market is held. Our only criticisms were (1) our room was on the 4th (top) floor of the hotel and was too warm - the window only opened a crack and the freestanding fan wasn't sufficient to cool the room, and (2) there is no on-site parking and although the multi-storey carpark is only a short walk away and the hotel validates the ticket so that guests do not have to pay for their parking it is, nonetheless, rather inconvenient - especially I suppose if it's raining!

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the ground floor!

Another consistently good quality Premier Inn. Location of the hotel was excellent with handy 24 hour multi storey car park about 100 metres away, which was free with the hotel. Navigationally, it was easy to find the hotel when driving into Norwich in the dark.

The staff were particularly friendly and helpful.

On the last night there was a large party of boisterous french lads and they seemed to have lots of rooms along our corridor. Got woken at 11pm by them all socialising and messing around in the corridor. I was about to go into the corridor to tell them to shut up, but I didn't need to because the Premier Inn staff had obviously already been alerted and were straight on to it, telling them to go into their rooms and be quiet. That did the trick.

Up to usual Premier Inn standards. Efficient, modern, clean, helpful staff. We had room 229 which was adapted for disabled use. larger room, very spacious walk-in shower. Only standard size double bed. Good breakfast.

Room Tip: Room 229 quiet and larger than others as is disabled adapted

We've just got back from a fantastic weekend in Norwich & I have to say this hotel made our stay, we were a mixed group of elderly & young people/children & they catered for us all - reception staff couldnt have helped us more they even offered to get in the lift with an elderly member of our group.
Breakfast is well worth it especially if you have children as they eat free.
Location wise this place is spot on - I cant say enough good things for this hotel.

Big comfy beds, air conditioning, slept like a bear. Staff all very helpful and breakfast was good, just what we needed to set us up for the day. Free car parking in Duke Street multi storey car park for the day was appreciated too, just get ticket validated at reception and pop ticket into car park machine on exit. Great for sightseeing in Norwich or for serious shopping trip.

Room Tip: If something is not right in your room, ring reception and they will try to sort the problem or move...

My girlfriend and I, stayed again in this premier inn after our last visit in January and no doubt shall stay again.

The room was booked in advance therefore we can not say that the price was anything other than brilliant and our stay was thoroughly good value for the money. Last time we had brilliant service from an ever smiling team and it was the same again on this visit, providing information about the facilities and being on hand should we need them.

The room was again in top condition, clean through out with a gleaming en suite. The usual extras were plentiful with refills for the tea/coffee available if necessary, extra towels and pillows already if wanted. The bed was as usual a soft but firm king size bed which provided a good nights sleep. The only negative I do have however is the extractor fan within the en suite and next door rooms bathrooms is quite loud and lasts for many minutes, I know they are needed but it did keep me awake for quite a while in the night. This wouldn't actually stop me staying again though!

We tried the bar for the first time and we were greeted warmly and the service was friendly and done with a smile! The bar in the evening time had a good atmosphere with not too loud music playing in the background.

The breakfast, A-star again! As you would expect from a buffet breakfast, there was plenty of choice ranging from cereals, to fruit, continental and cooked foods, the food was replenished regularly and as always the staff were friendly, chatted to us and did their jobs with a smile. I look forward to staying with them again!
