room too hot, totally unbearable - had a small table top domestic squeaky fan as air con - no help at all! had 2 hours sleep all night and baby ended up with a heat rash just by sleeping in a nappy!
childs pizza was frozen! i cant cook but even i can cook a pizza!!

not the best night ive had that is for sure! in fact if i hadn't already booked tickets for the zoo the following day i would have drove 3 hours home at 1am in the morning!! and i hate driving in the dark!

To start with the positives, this hotel is in an excellent location and the staff were fantastic, the room was clean, it was less than £30....we only have one complaint - the heat in the room!!! We were in Room 501, top floor, facing into the sun all day. The most uncomfortable night I ever experienced, the window only opened a tiny amount and the provided fan faced the floor and had the effect of having a hair dryer on. I wish I'd been able to take a temperature reading but i'm fairly sure it was hotter than an oven. Don't stay here on a hot day or make sure you get a room out of the sun.

Room Tip: Avoid a top floor, sun facing room at all costs!

If you're on a budget then the Travelodge is reasonable. It's well situated. Rooms are clean but spartan. Staff are polite&helpful. Book a south facing room to avoid overlooking the noisy bus station!

Our room was boiling hot and there was no air con. The fan in the room was broken and facing the floor and I could have blown more air out of my mouth, it was very weak. There is no phone in the room and only one towel for 2 of us! When we arrived, there was also bags of rubbish in the corridor. Not impressed at all and definitely not worth the money!

Upon arrival discovered that we had to pay to park next door £14.20 for 24 hours. No concessions if you were staying at the Travel lodge. The temperature of the room was 95 degrees all night and unable to open the window as the room was on the main road right in the centre of Norwich. Staff provided a fan but all it did was circulate hot air! Definately won't stay there again. The best bit was Wilkos store across the road who had air conditioning . We went in just to cool off. This is a common theme of Travel Lodges.....too hot and no air conditioning in any of the 7 that I have stayed in. As I live in the frozen north (North Yorkshire) maybe going South is the problem. However this one was unbearable. Come on Travel Lodge, spend some money and install air con!

Pretty central location, bus station outside window so be aware of noise. Bed was super comfy, I don't usually sleep when away from home but I did this time
Much nicer places nearby for food and drink - the facilities here were poor
But the bed outweighs all that for me

Stayed here for two nights in July. The hotel is very warm with no air conditioning. This forces you to sleep with the window open however the hotel overlooks a major road that remains busy throughout most of the night. Between the heat and the constant traffic noise I had two dreadful night's sleep.

The room itself is a standard Travelodge layout, the bathroom was quite clean however my toilet seat was broken. The bedroom carpet was quite disgusting and stained.

I would look elsewhere to find a place to stay!

Room Tip: If you have to stay here then try to get a room at the back of the building away from the main road
