Went to the Whalebone with my son for a beer or two on Wednesday night.
The Whalebone was a very welcoming public house. The ale was excellent, best that I drank whilst in Norwich.
Midweek there wasn't much to be had food wise but they did serve a stunning Scotch Egg, as big as a softball and a wonderful sausage roll. We both had one of each.
I know that my son will end up being a regular there and I will visit when in Norwich.
Thank you so much for such a glowing review, it is very much appreciated.
We are pleased that you both enjoyed your visit to The Whalebone and yes the Scotch Eggs and Sausage Rolls do hit the spot, plus we are very proud of the quality and selection of Ales always available..
You will both be very welcome when next you visit us and we do hope that your son will soon become a "regular"
Cheers

Hi Sarah H,
Well we can't say anymore than we are so pleased that you enjoyed your visits to the Whalebone and that we look forward to seeing you again when next you visit Norwich. We know from personal experience how important it is ,when you are away from home, to find somewhere that "Hits the Spot".
Visited the beer festival. Amazing atmosphere. Good food good music. Staff are very friendly and good selection of wine and beers. Very reasonable on price. We will go back again.
Hi
Thank you for your review following a visit to our recent German Beer Festival. Yes it was an amazing event and we are so pleased that the weekend including the fabulous City of Norwich Brass Band, all 27 of them, was enjoyed by so many.
Pubs are about giving people what they want and this covers a very wide spectrum of needs and tastes to which we aim to meet and are delighted that this policy has been endorsed recently by our inclusion once again in the CAMRA 2017 Good Beer Guide

We were invited to an anniversary party, and must say it was a great night. The function room is very well decorated and clean. Must mention the staff very polite and prompt service at the bar, they will also get your order and bring to your table great idea. If anyone looking for a function room can thoroughly recommend the Whalebone.
Hello Barry
