So me and 5 friends stayed in this hotel as I found it on booking.com and wanted to reserve so we could all pay on the day. As you pull up, it doesn't have the best impression. We arrived at around 5:30pm and the heat in the building was unbearable!! We were reassured that the heating is switched off at 11pm - which it was. We had 3 rooms between us - 36, 37 and 45. All we okay in size but very dated decor. Bathroom floor wasn't laying flat and was all bubbly. Security is strange.. front door was always open and you had to hand your keys to the reception if you were going out! Which I find weird. Great for what we needed I guess - cheap and cheerful rooms (about £70 each) and half a mile walk from Norwich nightlife.

My heart sunk when I pulled in to the car park was faced with a dilapidated building, a far cry from the photo. It got worse when I went as it was like something from the 70s; you know you've made a mistake when you get a TV remote with your keys.

The room was clean and the bathroom also but the silicone sealant around the shower was filthy and the towel rail rusty. My night's sleep became impossible as the place is noisy, from people stomping up and down stairs to the Romanian Karaoke that went on for hours.

I would give this hotel 0 points if I could.

Booked this hotel for a 1 night stay with a friend and was completely shocked by the state of this hotel. From the second we pulled into the car park we asked ourselves how we managed to book here! It's very, very dated, which in itself wouldn't be an issue if it was clean. But it wasn't. The room stunk of cigarette smoke, and the bathroom was filthy! We didn't dare use the bath/shower, fearing we may catch something! My advice would be stay somewhere else. There is a premier inn not far down the road, it's definitely worth paying the extra!

Yuk!!!!!
Everywhere was filthy and worn. Toilet dirty. Shower dirty. Floor and walls disgusting. Would never go back. Stay away. They had cleaners but not sure what they did. My bed was covered by a blanket that totally stunk.

I travel all over the country and explore many different "hotels". Now usually I don't write bad reviews but this takes the cake. My room was left open for two days on the run by either the cleaner or a mysterious imposter. The second night I had 21 pound missing from the room. There is no CCTV to see what happened but unsurprisingly the cleaner disputed claims that I had that money on my bedside table. Instead of investigating and refund my money I was offered a meal and a beer. Adding up to around 12 pound. £9 less than I had stolen from me. To add insult to injury I sat down with my beer, took a big swig, placed it down and immediately regretted agreeing to take the free beer. The lines had obviously not been cleaned in months. I couldn't handle it so I just left it at the bar. The woman kindly brought my food upstairs and to be fair it was quite nice. Not gourmet but nice. The staff are friendly but the security of the hotel is a joke. Cleaners leaving doors open, missing money and God awful beer... it's lucky I have to give a rating better than 0. DO NOT STAY HERE!
