St Giles House Hotel
Ranked #12 of 50 Hotels in Norwich
Certificate of Excellence

A hotel in one of the most outstanding houses in the city from an architectural point of view, which has been carefully converted into a most unusual hotel.
Our bedroom had lovely furnishings, the dinner was delicious, with courteous staff.

We would certainly repeat the experience if they have an attractive promotion again.

Dear Guests,

Great to see such appreciation for the stunning building which houses our 24 hotel accommodation and Bistro/Bar and Spa. The original facade of St Giles House is unique to say the least in Norwich Hotels, but incorporated into this beautiful listed building is an array of original details combined perfectly with all the modern necessities of Hotel accommodation. I am pleased to see this, alongside our staff & service, added positively to your experience here at St Giles House.

Keep updated on our Special Offers online for regular Dinner, Bed & Breakfast offers, and Spa deals. We hope these tempting offers bring about your return soon

Kind Regards

From the minute you step into St Giles, you will relax and feel calm. The atmosphere is regal but chilled (is that possible?). We stayed for a mid-week break, although the hotel was full there was no hustle and bussle (and often chaos) that other hotels seem to offer. The room was large, and very tastefully furnished. Evening dinner was really good, with entertainment from the Irish waiter. A real character. The hotel was spotless in all area, I would have no hesitation in returning and maybe trying the spa next time. The hotel is in a great location, ask for map as car parking is not obvious, slight noise from people walking past on the outside pavement, but this was never really a problem.
Try it you will not be dissapointed.

Very very disappointing. The staff gave the impression that they really couldn't care less and the food was average. I expected much much more and was let down. My booking was to celebrate a very special occasion and I will not be going back.

The hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff are very attentive and cannot do enough for their guests. They are all very friendly. Staff are very keen to help out with advice of where to visit and have a good knowledge of the local area.
The room was large and the air con was very welcome.
Found the whole hotel very quiet and relaxing and we spent time in the lounge enjoying the comfort of the huge sofa's whilst being served a cream tea.
The hotel is 2 minutes walk to the shops in an ideal location.
This hotel cannot be faulted and we will definitely be returning

Nice tidy hotel.

Some theatre people staying and they party rather loudly, but generally great.

Would stay again.

We've just come away from a one night stay here. The food was good, the staff friendly and helpful. We stayed in the 'Odeon' room which faces on to the side so it wasn't at all noisy. It was a large, well furnished room with a small balcony, a large bathroom (shower only), everything was lovely and clean. As other reviewers have said there is a free car park and the hotels location is brilliant for exploring Norwich. We came on a discount internet deal, however we plan to return for a birthday or anniversary. Thank you St Giles for a lovely stay :)

Many thanks for your feedback, tying your stay in with a trip to the Theatre Royal is certainly making the most of our location (less than 5min walk to Theatre), so Im pleased to see this worked well for you. The theatre brings a lot of business to the Hotel so great to hear your experience was so positive!

We look forward to seeing you both here again upon your next stay
