Very comfortable hotel. Found it very clean and nicely appointed. The beds are comfy although the room was a little warm. The bathroom was very large perhaps too large for just the shower, small wash basin and toilet that were in there it could have done with a bath as well. Breakfast was included and although what was on offer was very nice, I do think a little more choice on the continental buffet would have been appreciated especially if you are not keen on cooked breakfasts.

The hotel was in an excellent position just a 5 minute stroll into Norwich town centre which was very nice with plenty of good restaurants.

We found this hotel good value for money and lovely for a weekend break, would definately stay again.

On the rare occasion that my husband and I go away anywhere with the children, we chose st.giles house for a ones nights stay on our 1st wedding anniversary!
When I phoned to book the reception staff were very friendly and even gave me the postcode of their car park as it's different for the hotel one. Making it very easy for us to find.
We were welcomed by a very friendly member of staff on the reception who showed us to our room and told us about their restaurant ands hat time breakfast was the next morning.
The room was very well presented, sparkling clean and tidy!!
We didn't eat in the restaurant as we'd already booked elsewhere, but when we returned to the hotel about 10.30pm, the hotel staff welcomed us back and gave us our key without having to ask who we were.
Couldn't have faulted the breakfast, there was lots to choose from and all of what I tasted was lovely.
Don't go if you are expecting lovely views, the hotel doesn't offer this, but for me it didn't need to. We will defiantly be returning when we get the chance.

My wife booked this hotel as a surprise for my 40th Birthday,on arriving in Norwich from our home in Essex we had a a bit of trouble finding the hotel as it is accessable via back streets but a bit of common-sense and asking a local we found it no problem. The hotel was impressive from the front and in reception as well, the room was huge and despite being the end of November was cosy and warm. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was functional with some lovely shower-gel which was very luxurious.Bath robes were a nice touch and we lounged around in them for a while before venturing into the city centre. The hotel is very central but seems very quiet at night which is great for a light sleeper like myself. Only ate breakfast here as we ate out both nights we were in Norwich,it was very nice with freshly cooked bacon, eggs etc it had not been hanging around for ages which has been my experience in some hotels. All in all a lovely stay and if we return to Norwich we would not hesitate in staying there again.

Firstly 'Happy Birthday' and thanks for choosing our Hotel to spend it in. Its critical we receive feedback it helps us grow as a Hotel and allows us to focus on what we are missing.

I'm pleased to hear you found the Hotel impressive and the little touches like the Premium range of Bath products and the Bathrobes and nice touch.

Breakfast is freshly cooked to order and includes a wide range of Juices, cereals and fresh fruit glad you found it a step up from other Hotels you've stayed at.

We look forward to welcoming you back and next time try the having dinner here i'm sure you won't be disappointed

Thanks

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. The first stay was excellent, and this visit was just as good! We stayed on the 20/21st July in room 17, a very comfortable bedroom and bathroom. We were made aware of a wedding party (possible noise) on the Saturday as our room was close to terrace area. This was not a real problem. The food is first class, as were the staff. After doing a lot of walking around the city during the day, we retired to the bar area before borrowing a DVD from their extensive list for guest's. I would highly recommended this Hotel, and look forward to our next visit!

A large period property converted into a hotel, a bit quirky in layout, retaining many period features. Close to the city centre, with restaurants nearby. My room had all you needed, huge bathroom, but the TV was right in the corner, the minibar stood in front of the period firepace and a freestanding fan for air conditioning. Breakfast was lovely and offered Gluten-free cereals. Staff were polite and helpful.

I stayed here for a week in August and enjoyed it. The staff are excellent and friendly. I had a room at the rear of the hotel with a roll top bath and large bathroom. The room was just the right size. I eat out a lot through my line of work and I have to say that the food at the hotel is very good and reasonably priced. The car parking is a little bit weird but once you get used to it then it is ok.
When i visit Norwich again I will definatly stay at this hotel.
