“Nice Hotel, Friendly staff”
Reviewed 7 November 2011

We stayed at this hotel on Saturday 29th October. We were attending the football game at the attached ground. We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. We had a lovely room. We had a good stay.

Room Tip: We had The Canary Suite on the third floor. Very nice.

Stayed for one night prior to a football match. I did not have a pitch view room which are available. Rooms are clean and huge and very modern. Excellent hotel, bar a bit pricey but that's too be expected. I would definitely go back

The warm welcome that we received when checking in made us feel at home straight away. This hotel is very modern, clean and well worth a stay when visiting Norwich. The main reason that we chose this hotel was that it was in walking distance of Delia's restaurant, where we had booked an anniversary celebration meal.
As this hotel is part of the Norwich City FC complex we were pleased to see that we had been given a pitch view room, even though we hadn't asked for one. (Probably due to the fact that there were no matches during our stay). The room was clean with excellent facilities. We would not hesitate in staying here again or recommending the Norwich City Holiday Inn to friends and family!!!

Staff were helpful, friendly and could not do enough to make sure the stay was a good one. Rooms excellent, our one looked over football ground. Shame there wasn't a game on. Good situation to get in and out of Norwich city centre, within walking distance. On bus route and taxis organised by reception. Food very good - not complaints except that i put wieght on eating too much. Will definately use again and recommend.

We stayed here on a visit to Norwich, the staff were friendly and so polite nothing was too much trouble for them, a welcoming smile is worth everything. The room was clean and spacious the bed was comfortable and choice of pillows, complimentary toiletries were also good. The bathroom was clean and the shower worked very well. The food was good and their was a large choice for breakfast. There is a supermarket and small shopping centre just across the road, we would definitely stay again when visiting Norwich as it is within walking distance of the town centre.

stopped here august bank holiday weekend, nice new hotel with comfortable room.

we had room service on the saturday night which was bang on,but breakfast the next day was sadly a let down.
last year we stopped at the other holiday inn in norwich which i thought was better.
if the breakfast was better then i would have given more than average, overall worth a stay but nothing to shout about.

Clean tidy and everything apart from below was as expected. Didn't like the 2 double beds in the room. The gym was not advertised very well and the Chef's special menu was the same for the 4 nights I stayed in room 209. The towels were clean but thin and hard, disappointing.
