Can hardly fault the hotel. Staff all extremely helpful and willing to please. Location excellent and rooms really quiet, with good double glazing and light-proof curtains. Comfortable beds, rooms very clean and well appointed. Excellent choice at breakfast and very efficient despite very large numbers. Only niggle - ordered an egg and cress sandwich on white bloomer in evening - egg and cheese delivered. Sent it back - along came another on standard white bread. Not too bothered by this but then found on eating it that it was lettuce not watercress. Returned this too - waitress went to investigate and came back to say no cress or bloomer available. OK, fair enough, but don't just send out incorrect food and hope people don't care - inform the customer and ask if that is acceptable. Silly niggle but otherwise a superb hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a positive review. We as a team are so glad that you had such a great experience with us. We are just a short hop away from the Riverside Leisure complex and a short walk to town. Thank you for your praise of our 75 item breakfast buffet table. I have informed the kitchen of your issue in regards to the sandwich miss-order and I apologise for any inconvenience this caused. We are looking forward to welcoming you back soon to the Holiday Inn Norwich City. Kind Regards

This was a good Holiday Inn, whether staying on business or leisure. Only a 5-10 minute walk from the train station so if without much luggage and it's not raining it is an easy walk too. The location adjacent to the football ground means that it might be noisy if you have a room facing the pitch like I did, but being out of season the only thing I had to ensure was that curtains were well drawn as maintenance staff were working on scaffolding nearby. I ate out at night - the Riverwalk Entertainment Area is but a 10-minute walk away - but enjoyed a very hearty full English breakfast, which was included in my room rate, before leaving in the morning. The room was clean, comfortable, and the bathroom in very good working order. Staff were friendly and helpful. I will stay again.

Room Tip: If there is a football match on in the evening and you do not want a free vantage point from a room facing the pitch then request a room on the front side of the hotel.

Stayed one night during our three weeks in the UK staying at mainly IHG hotels. This was the best we had come across. Best bed and air conditioning, a good combination on these hot days.

Restaurant and staff were all good, would stay again.

Had a 4 night stay attending a convention. Great staff, they want you to enjoy your stay, so friendly. We had breakfast, lunch and evening meal, all good. Clean rooms. Love the layout of the hotel foyer and restaurant. Couldn't have been looked after any better. Want to visit again.

Room Tip: You can have pitch view or street view. Nice to see the pitch I guess but all Ok really

Excellent base for exploring Norwich with a 10 minute walk from the station. The room was clean with plenty of storage for hanging up clothes etc. The bathroom had what you would expect, all to a good standard. With it being directly attached to Norwich City Football Club, expect some noise on match days - otherwise a faultless hotel.

Thank you for your positive comments. Our rooms have been designed with comfort in mind and finished to the highest standards. We do always communicate out any possible disturbances in advance and we are fortunate to have ample car park space and double glazed windows to keep the noise level to a minimum. Kind Regards Quinton O’Shea
