It is not often that you are so warmly welcomed by staff but at Holiday Inn, Norwich City, the staff are all brilliant. As I am often away, it is great to be so welcomed by staff. In particular, Aleesha has a very friendly and warm approach and is very attentive. Many thanks to them all.

One thing I would like though is the "sleep" timer to work on the TV. I find trying to get to sleep in a hotel sometimes difficult due to different noises from home so usually set sleep timer on TV but this doesn't work here. Please can you get this to work as it would save me waking up at 3 am with TV still on.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn over the weekend of the Jehovah's Witnesses District convention. Although a busy weekend, we found the staff to be at all times, courteous and friendly, and always willing to help. This, together with the high standard of accommodation - which in our case had to facilitate wheelchair accessible amenities - made for a most relaxing and pleasant stay. Especially would we like to make mention of our waitress, Aleesha, who served us for a number of excellent meals in the hotel restaurant. She was most helpful and charming. She showed initiative in catering to our needs and her polite yet friendly approach made for a most enjoyable meal. We returned home feeling thoroughly refreshed and relaxed, which must be the highest recommendation for the Holiday Inn, Norwich. We look forward to returning in the future.

The Walker family.

Thank you for your kind words in regards to your recent stay at the Holiday Inn Norwich City. Yes we had a very busy weekend and I am pleased to hear that the staff has given excellent service. We are very aware of our guest requirements and have 8 accessible rooms available with ample parking at the front of the hotel. I have communicated your positive comments to Aleesha and as a team we are very happy to know that one of our newest recruits has been recognised for her good service. Thank you again for the praise and we will commit ourselves to consistently deliver the service you have so kindly committed on. Kind Regards

Can hardly fault the hotel. Staff all extremely helpful and willing to please. Location excellent and rooms really quiet, with good double glazing and light-proof curtains. Comfortable beds, rooms very clean and well appointed. Excellent choice at breakfast and very efficient despite very large numbers. Only niggle - ordered an egg and cress sandwich on white bloomer in evening - egg and cheese delivered. Sent it back - along came another on standard white bread. Not too bothered by this but then found on eating it that it was lettuce not watercress. Returned this too - waitress went to investigate and came back to say no cress or bloomer available. OK, fair enough, but don't just send out incorrect food and hope people don't care - inform the customer and ask if that is acceptable. Silly niggle but otherwise a superb hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a positive review. We as a team are so glad that you had such a great experience with us. We are just a short hop away from the Riverside Leisure complex and a short walk to town. Thank you for your praise of our 75 item breakfast buffet table. I have informed the kitchen of your issue in regards to the sandwich miss-order and I apologise for any inconvenience this caused. We are looking forward to welcoming you back soon to the Holiday Inn Norwich City. Kind Regards

This was a good Holiday Inn, whether staying on business or leisure. Only a 5-10 minute walk from the train station so if without much luggage and it's not raining it is an easy walk too. The location adjacent to the football ground means that it might be noisy if you have a room facing the pitch like I did, but being out of season the only thing I had to ensure was that curtains were well drawn as maintenance staff were working on scaffolding nearby. I ate out at night - the Riverwalk Entertainment Area is but a 10-minute walk away - but enjoyed a very hearty full English breakfast, which was included in my room rate, before leaving in the morning. The room was clean, comfortable, and the bathroom in very good working order. Staff were friendly and helpful. I will stay again.

Room Tip: If there is a football match on in the evening and you do not want a free vantage point from a room...

Stayed one night during our three weeks in the UK staying at mainly IHG hotels. This was the best we had come across. Best bed and air conditioning, a good combination on these hot days.

Restaurant and staff were all good, would stay again.

Had a 4 night stay attending a convention. Great staff, they want you to enjoy your stay, so friendly. We had breakfast, lunch and evening meal, all good. Clean rooms. Love the layout of the hotel foyer and restaurant. Couldn't have been looked after any better. Want to visit again.

Room Tip: You can have pitch view or street view. Nice to see the pitch I guess but all Ok really

Excellent base for exploring Norwich with a 10 minute walk from the station. The room was clean with plenty of storage for hanging up clothes etc. The bathroom had what you would expect, all to a good standard. With it being directly attached to Norwich City Football Club, expect some noise on match days - otherwise a faultless hotel.

Thank you for your positive comments. Our rooms have been designed with comfort in mind and finished to the highest standards. We do always communicate out any possible disturbances in advance and we are fortunate to have ample car park space and double glazed windows to keep the noise level to a minimum.
