We used a Groupon voucher and satnav to find this interesting little diner. Didi is a charming, peaceful lady and an excellent cook.
We were the only diners and Thea made us welcome, bringing fruit punch whilst our cooked to order meals were being prepared.
Appetisers of corn on the cob were a welcome surprise. After a realistic wait the Caribbean chicken stirfry and Vegetable stir fry were placed before us, hot and sizzling. Rice and beans and yam slices accompanied this tasty repast. Top quality fresh vegetables were full of flavour.
Desserts were authentic. Homemade Carrot and Walnut cake with ice cream went down well and the tropical fruit salad was sweet and refreshing. A surprisingly filling meal.
On street parking, disabled friendly access with disabled loo. Having to walk through the screened off kitchen area to reach the loo was not ideal. However, this is a new and growing business and I wouldn't be surprised to see it move to a larger site before too long.
