This guest house deserves a 10 out of 5
Wonderful hosts. Accommodation beautifully clean. Breakfast cooked wonderfully healthy and such choice. Just a 5 minute walk to the centre and the start of many walks

Room Tip: Please ask advice on sightseeing, walking etc. Amanda and Eduardo are a mind of information

Just stayed at Settle Lodge 13TH September for 2 nights . Very friendly hosts in Amanda and Eduardo. On arrival we were offered tea and cake which was very welcomed. We were shown to our room No 4 which was spacious with en suite bathroom , king sized bed and chairs and large sofa to relax on after a long day travelling.
The views from this room are stunning and glad we upgraded for the comfort and outlook of Settle and the hills around. There were nice homely touches in the room and breakfast was cooked to perfection with a great choice for all tastes .
Bonus was the on site parking and the very short walk into the unspoilt town with many independent shops restaurants and public houses to try. Great feel to the town and would urge people to try Friday fish night at Ravenous.
Many thanks to Amanda and Eduardo for making our stay in Settle a memorable one . The property has all its original charm as well as being updated and would have no hesitation in telling people to stay here . Couldn't fault it in any way. We hope to return soon

Room Tip: Room 4- huge space -stunning views. First floor

We stayed 2 nights at the Settle Lodge in August. I cannot speak too highly of the quality of our welcome and accommodation. Amanda served us tea on our arrival and our room was beautifully prepared, comfortable with all mod cons. It's only a couple of minute's walk to the pubs and restaurants and also the railway station. I will definitely book this bnb again.

We had booked room 3 but on arrival were offered a free 'upgrade' to the larger room 7 as it wasn't particularly busy. Lovely friendly hosts greeted us with a generous pot of tea and delicious cake.

Both rooms looked lovely but room 7 was fantastic, spacious and spotless with comfortable bed, quality furnishings including a large sofa and view out over the hills. Everything seemed to have been considered to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable.

Breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from. Nothing seemed too much bother we will definitely consider returning at some point.

We had room 4 - would definitely recommend - light room with bay window - amazing view of mountain/hills - large seating area, bed and very adequate bathroom - with bath and shower over , excellent service - Amanda and Edurado could not have been kinder - breakfast selection lovely - recommend the blueberry and lavender jam - and the cooked breakfasts - convenient to walk to station in Settle - a must is train ride to Carlisle - unrivalled scenery - the Cathedral in Carlisle is worth seeing - recommend Ravenous dining room (upstairs) - the decor is nothing to write about but food is amazing - particularly fish dish for £10 each on Friday - best meal out of our holiday thank you to Amanda and Edurado for an excellent stay - best overall B&B for us in Yorkshire as yet

A most enjoyable stay, wonderful breakfasts pleasant hosts, and a comfortable room.. Very few b&b's have such large rooms with a comfortable sofa and an arm chair to relax in after a days walking in the Dales. Would certainly recommend this to friends, and we hope to return next year.

Room Tip: We enjoyed staying in room number 7
