Very comfortable room with little extras that we hadn't expected at the price. Ensuite very clean and efficient. Dining room nicely appointed. Breakfast excellent with a good choice. Very quite at night and very convenient for a stroll into Settle. Hostess pleasant without being pushy.

We arrived in Settle with nothing booked and just happened accross Settle lodge but we could n't have hoped for more.
Our room was spacious with a seating area, superb King size bed and a very new en-suite shower room.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.
Thank you Eduardo and Amanda for a great stay. We hope to be back.

My husband and I stayed Friday and Saturday Evening. We chose this hotel as somewhere comforatble to stay as we were taking part in the Macmillan 3 Peaks Challenge, and what a Challenge it was!! I suppose being pregnant doesn't help.

The hotel itself is set in beautiful gardens, is very clean and worth every penny. The hosts Eduardo and Amanda are the most accomodating and helpful people you could wish to meet. The room was also very impressive, nice comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and a great en-suite. We had the window open the whole time, even during the night as the weather was so hot, and you couldn't hear a thing... that is until the lambs woke up in the morning and you could hear them bleeting, now you know you are in the country ;)

The hotel is literally 5 mins walk from the centre of Settle. We ate the first night at Ravenous (above the Co-op, sort of) well worth a visit. Great food in a comfortable relaxed atomsphere. The 2nd night we ate at Royal Spice, an Indian reataurant, again highly recommended.

Overall we had a super weekend and will definatley be returning, though I for one won't be attempting the 3 peaks again....for a while :)

This superior B & B is a short walk from the town centre with great views over the Dales. Very roomy and comfortable. Spotless. Lovely dining room serving good breakfasts. There is a lot of information on walks and other activities in the area. A great base with a touch of luxury from which to explore the Dales. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night.
