“One of The Three”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

It's a hill ! Often tackled as the middle one of the Three Peaks Walk, but well worth a day on its own account.
Several possible routes:
From Horton in Ribblesdale - possibly the gentlest
From Clapham - via the delightful valley, Ingleborough Cave, Gaping Ghyll
From Ingleton - steady plod up via Crina Bottom
From Chapel le Dale
QUite a bit of these routes is now on duck-boards, avoiding the worst of the mud.

“Out Door Swimming Pool and Fish & Chips”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

No walking in Ingleborough for us today. My son is 10 and we were recommended to check out their outdoor pool (my son watches too much American TV) so he jumps at the chance to go to a real outdoor pool. The outdoor pool was clean and very much like you would see on an American kids TV show haha. The pool was very popular amongst the younger generation, it was a heated pool but still quite cold but on the other hand the sun was splitting the sky's so it balanced it self off. If you have kids they will love it. We had been travelling all over Yorkshire that day and just managed to squeeze Ingleborough in so after a long day Fish & Chips for all the family was a fab treat. Quaint streets with all sorts of nooks and crannies but easy enough to sniff out the lovely chippy :-) ahh
Lovely walk around this area too and an out door loo - always required. We'll done!

“Ingleborough Nature trail & Cave”
Reviewed 22 July 2014 via mobile

Beautiful little village in the Yorkshire Dales. It's a delightful walk through the village to the Nature Trail, then a half-hour walk alongside the lake to the Cave. The cave itself is very interesting, with friendly and knowledgeable guides. Very little in the way of facilities at the cave, but close enough to the village for that not to matter. A great trip out.

“Hard work”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

Why is it the last mountain of the three. It's hard. Then you come down and it all seems vey easy until you hit the pavements and/or the rain!
