After a bracing walk up (and down) Ingleborough, hence tender knees, the Talbot was a real find. The Moroccan Lamb casserole, a special of the day, was superb and the kids enjoyed beef and cheese burgers - the beef came with a child-sized bun and both had full salad garnish that was fresh and attractively presented. The bar was well-stocked, with a range of local real ales, both Yorkshire (Timothy Taylors) and Lancashire (Moorhouses) were represented and the staff were friendly and offered unobtrusive yet attentive service. This is a great pub.
