My girlfriend and I recently stayed with Martyn and Helen when we travelled to Giggleswick for a wedding. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was very spacious and very clean and Martyn even kindly offered to drop us at the wedding and pick us up at 12:30am! Now that's service!

To top it off, the breakfast was amazing!

Highly recommendable.

Room Tip: We had room 4 from memory, Martyn even gave us the choice of another room!

Thank you for taking time out to write the review it is very much appreciated.
I'm so glad that you had a good time at the wedding and enjoyed your stay with us.
Your comments are very much appreciated.
It wasn't a big deal picking you up from the wedding but your appreciation is valued, even if you did say you wouldn't say anything about it.
Once again thank you and we hope to see you again in the future.
Best Wishes
martyn

Had two nights at the above, accommodation is excellent with en suite facilities. A marvelous choice of various Breakfasts with cereal and fresh fruit, freshly squeezed fruit juice and home made jams. all laid out very nicely. My favourite breakfast? Black Pudding and Manx Kipper Fish cake with fried egg on top. Fantastic. Not to everyone's taste but lots of choices including vegetarian. Can highly recommend it. Not far from the centre of town or Railway Station.

The home made food was outstanding at this unassuming B and B. Don't be put off by the rusting sign. It is much better than it looks from the outside. I have never had a nicer breakfast or one with as much input from the owner in terms of making it herself - muffins, smoothie, many different jams, as well as fresh fruit salads and dried fruit salads and a good choice of cooked breakfasts. There were even fresh home made cakes on arrival. A quiet room with very comfortable twin beds. This B and B deserves its "best breakfast" award.

Thank you for your kind review. It is very complimentary to know that Helen's hard work is appreciated.
You have however, caused me a slight dilemma in that should I sort out the rusty sign or leave it as a beacon to 'all that glitters is not gold'.
Thank you once again for your kind words
regards
Martyn

My wife and I stayed for one night on the 6th of October. We found our twin room with en-suite shower to be clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities available free in the lounge on our arrival. We enjoyed a nice cooked breakfast with loads of toast and tea next morning. We were visiting Settle for a family get together and the Guest House was ideal. We shall certainly be staying again.

Initially planning a 3 night stay to walk the Dales we met the worst September rain for 100 years and so cut short our visit.
Fine room (No 5), well appointed and the lounge facilities were great.
Great breakfast and helpful friendly advice.

Nice B&B on the Way of the Roses route. Great cakes on arrival and very good breakfasts. Fairly accommodating for cyclists. Owners try hard to accommodate requests. Could do with covered area to store bikes.

Thank you for your review regarding your stay on the Way of the Roses cycle route.
We are pleased that you enjoyed the cakes and breakfast but still struggle with the concept of covered bike storage. Where would you like us to site the covered storage unit? - any ideas would be appreciated. We have tried to accommodate cyclists as best as space allows.
Once again thank you for your review.
