What a beautiful place, although a little off the beaten track it was all worth, Our room was beautiful just like the house, first day we had a bath an it was heaven. The owners were very pleasant and we were greeted with coffee an biscuits. We ate at the pub which was about a 15min walk.A torch is a most on your return back to the farm.
Breakfast was lovely yet we only had cereal an toast as we not fans of full english.but its did smell rather nice.
Deffinate place to revisit.

Booked through Packhorse Coast 2 Coast walk
What a fabulous Farmhouse, Tom and Sandra gave our group of 6 a very warm welcome, we felt totally at ease in this beautiful place, they were very trusting. We had a meal in the only pub left in the village. The rooms at the farm were very cosy and beds comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional. I would love to come back here.

Thank you.

We stayed two nights at Red House Farm. The booking process, by phone and internet, was straight forward and provided to be reliable. We travelled from Wiltshire to Glaisdale, the last part of the journey is on narrow and winding roads that require full attention. The Post Code took The Satnav to the general area, but one needs to keep a close lookout for the Red House sign on the left (2 Kms west out of Glasidale).
We were met by Sandra and received a welcome and a comprehensive brief on door keys, access at night etc. Shown to a large and comfortable room with a great view over The Valley. The bathroom is big, rather old fashioned, but exudes a friendly comfort. The building has a quirky charm, with the ticking clock on the up stairs landing, and the odd creaking floor board, it left us with a comfortable feeling and a sense of ease. We slept soundly on both nights.
Breakfast is served at a communal table in a large dining room, and the breakfast was to a good standard, very enjoyable. However, the key element in this B & B experience is the style of the hosts. Sandra is a quiet, calm lady (I sensed a strong character) who makes one feel completely at home. Tom is a well travelled man with a host of interesting experiences. It transpired that we had a mutual acquaintance whose memory allowed us to enjoy recalling past events in foreign lands! If North Yorkshire had a Blarney Stone I guess that Tom kissed it! We really enjoyed The Craic and felt comfortable as guests in Tom and Sandras home. Thanks for a very enjoyable break from The Mad World outside!

Room Tip: The Front, South Facing Room, overlooking The Glaisdale Valley is recommended.

Lovely property in in beautiful location not far from the coast to coast route. A warm welcome to a stunning home. A Must see - the long horn cows on the property. Snooker room and swimming pool/fitness room coming in the near future.

We have stayed three times at Red House Farm and have enjoyed Sandra and tom's exceptionally wonderful hosting skills. The welcome is warm , the house is beautifully cosy and the breakfast is delicious, served at the large farmhouse table with, if you're lucky, the added entertainment of Tom's repartee. Tom and Sandra are very helpful; recommending local restaurants, walks, etc. We have dined at the local pub the Arncliffe Arms and the food is always excellent. Red House Farm is exquisitely quaint and a step back in time with stone flags, dark woodwork and beams. We have been received like old friends and our children love coming to stay. Sandra and Tom are enthusiastic about their home and the surrounding area .We have been made to feel like part of their family; they have also shown an interest in us and our children and go the extra mile with their hosting. We look forward to returning, many times.

What a wonderful bed and breakfast, excellent service by Tom and Sandra Spashett, nothing was too much trouble. A full english breakfast served with fresh produce and free range eggs! all cooked to our liking at a time to suit our plans for the day. The scenery from our room was stunning and a joy to wake upto on a cold february morning, our room being beautifully warm and cosy. We spent a good hour before setting out seeing the animals and listening to Toms amusing quips, we all had a good laugh. We will definitely be returning, hopefully sooner rather than later in the year.
