At the home of the museum of Captain James Cook you would expect things to be run ship shape and Bristol fashion. Well, the Magnolia Guest House certainly is. Ian does a cracking job in looking after his guests exceptionally well. Very comfortable accommodation and a great breakfast every morning to start the day. Also, we liked the way that he treated our 8 year old girl like a young lady rather than a child (if you get my meaning).
Really good location, just 5-10 minutes walk from most of the attractions in Whitby. Best place to eat that we found was the Passage to India, closely followed by Mings Palace and the Sunday Carvery at the George (all can be found near the railway station)
Overall, a great Easter vacation - thanks very much Ian. Monkey sys hi as well
