Our second of many stays in one of their pods. This is basically a wooden tent with 2 scockets, lights and a radiator. You need to take everything you would normally take for camping. I would recommend everyone who camps to try this at least once. You get the same friendly atmosphere as you would with any camping. The showers and toilets are very clean and spacious and well maintained. Looking forward to our next stay.

Room tip: This is camping and caravaning not a hotel. Try the pods.

Stayed in a pod for 2 nights in september it was very good value , facilities were clean at all times and plenty of showers and toilets , the site was very quiet no noise at night it was lovely , the location was brill to walk to whitby and robin hoods bay down the cinder track . The only issue we had was not all pods had outside lights but they need them , and it needs some lights down the path to the pods as it was pitch black , so take a torch folks .

Had a weeks camping 5 days.Lovely site and staff really friendly.Close to Whitby, Robin hoods bay.cycle hire centre trailways 5 mins down the road at Hawkser. We used the park and ride in Whitby plenty of parking spaces and buses every 10mins saved hunting for spaces in Whitby and only £4 return for my self and son.Sainsbury supermarket 5 mins by car towards whitby
Great for kids playpark and plenty of space son made a few friends all playing together.
Only downside mens toilets a tad smelly but only in there for small while.
All in all loved it and planning to go again end of September and stay in one of their camping pods as a base to go on our fossil hunting trip 😊

Good clean site. Very friendly owners. All amenities excellent. Dog exercise field brilliant, bar on site. We had a great weekend. Our first visit to York House with our day van and dogs but will not be our last.
