“It was great.”
Reviewed 13 September 2013 via mobile

We stayed in a bronze static caravan for a week. Caravan was great, location brilliant. All the staff at the park were so friendly and helpful. The only negative thing is the shop/cafe/pub were a little over priced. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed at the holiday park for three nights and the sight is in a fantastic position for walking distance to Whitby. We have been travelling in our motor home for six years across Europe and England and can honestly say we have never been made to feel more uncomfortable anywhere than in Whity Holidays Park 'Family room'. I can honestly say we were made to feel so humiliated we never returned to the so called family room. Upon entering the room there was loud music on so our two older children decided to have a game of pool. Dean the entertainer then started to play 'childrens bingo' our baby started to cry so my husband took our baby out and upon doing this Dean started making snide comments to the whole of the room about the screaming baby, this happened on three occasions and then remarked he would soon be putting music on to drown the noise of the baby out! As you can imagine we left in disgust as at no point did we let our baby cry for more than two minutes inside the 'family room' Having spoken to other campers the following day they were also astounded as to the remarks Dean was saying and thought we remained really calm as they would have addressed it immediately. This bearing in mind adversities itself as the Family Area and not the Adults area. We approached the manager and she said she would look into this and we never had no apology and nothing more was said.
We would return to the site due to the locality and the cleanliness of the toilets but would advise if you have a baby think twice as we booked the site as a family and wanted to enjoy a place to go in the evening and this certainly wasnt a pleasant family area.

We just spent 3 nights here.....lovely position and great weather. The park has everything you need....toilets and showers were spotless however the shower timer could do with being more than 10 seconds!! You constantly have to keep pressing it while in the shower. Fasilities were all good. Little shop on site....very friendly man. Have views of the sea and the abbey......had a very nice time here.....thanks whitby holiday park AAAAA+++++

After driving through this site twice to check it out first impressions of the touring pitches weren't great, but thought you never know unless you try it, so we booked in any way, £20 per night great price, £10 deposit for toilet key, arrived reception staff are very friendly, helpful (can not fault every single one of the reception staff they were extremely helpful & accommodating to all our needs) & then were shown on our pitch by the warden who also is a nice helpful friendly bloke.

The facility are ok, the toilets & showers while we were there the showers were clean & tidy not extremely clean but clean enough no problem there & I'm fussy,
Great little shop (cash only), nice pub very reasonable we thought £2.20 vodka n lemonade, also a lovely cafe that also do take out, laundrette, park for all kinds of ages.
& the best of all the walks are amazing from both ends of the site, we have booked in again and looking forward to going back.
Fantastic.

One of the best caravan parks we have visited. The site was lovely and the staff helpful. The views of the sea were fantastic could not have asked for better and the beach adjacent to the park was lovely and secluded. The caravan was spotless. The park is within walking distance of Whitby. Would love to visit again.

This was our second stay and we've already booked to come back in September.

The disability adapted static caravan is superb. Wheelchair goes straight up the ramp and into the van. Kitted out very nicely.

Nice walk into Whitby on the coastal path for those of us able bodied.

We found that the Indian and Thai restaurants deliver to the site which was great.

Highly recommend the Whitby Holiday Park.
