Visited for takeaway on the recommendation of other family members and were not disappointed. A very nice meal indeed. We had 2 pie meals, chicken & cider and the goats cheese & roast veg. Both pies were crammed with filling and flavour. Mash and gravy good too (I didn’t have the peas) and decent portion size. You can definitely tell they are home made. Nice to have a traditional style take away for a change.

On our visit to Whitby our accommodation recommended Humble Pie and we weren't disappointed. We had to wait less than 5 minutes for our meals to arrive and the pies were something like my Grandma used to make. The staff were welcoming and friendly - a place not to be missed!

Lovely food, great location, nice decor, early 19th century background music, old war time tin plates all added to the charm, keep it simple ......
