We chose Ellies to stay and were not dissappointed it was ideal for walking the breakfast off and exploring by foot the centre and you can have a lovely walk along the sand to Sandsend.Val and Pete are very good hosts and look after you my wife is gluten free so she struggles a bit with what she can eat.Not a problem here she got gluten free sausages in the morning and bread and chocolate brownie in the room.

Stayed 3 nights at Ellies in June. Our room was bright, clean and very comfy'. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice including freshly made scones. Pete & Val were very friendly & helpful & made us feel most welcome. Will be first on our list when we return to lovely Whitby.

We stayed four nights at Ellie's in June. Pete and Val did everything possible to make our trip comfortable and memorable. Our room was lovely, the breakfasts were great, well cooked with fresh fruit and Val's home made scones, which were perfect. Our previous experience of guest houses has been disappointing, but this is how it should be done, thank you P&V for a really super break.

Room Tip: We had room 5, splendid!

Me & my Mum recently stayed for 2 nights at Ellie's Guest House. On arrival we were greeted by Pete & Val who could not have made us feel any more welcome. We stayed in room 3 which was a large spotlessly clean room, with a pretty little seating area. Breakfast was absolutely delicious & Val's homemade scones went down a real treat (a must). Will definitely be returning again and without hesitation would recommend this B & B to anyone. Tara & Pat, Bolton.

Room Tip: Room 3 - lovely large room with a little seating area.
