Keep coming back

A clean, friendly, comfortable and central place to stay in Whitby. The owners go out of their way to make your stay as convenient and pleasant as possible. Breakfast is Full English the way you want (you pick and choose) and consistently good. Make sure you book well in advance!

Perfection

Currently about to check out ... Had such a wonderful time in Whitby from the moment we pulled up David was welcoming such a lovely place to stay. Both David and Tania are lovely. Breakfast always filling loved having the Kippers. Room was perfect best view of the Abbey and spotless. Will definitely be coming back ..... and soon Thank you David and Tania for a lovely week x Totally enjoyed the walks you recommended

Nice, pleasant stay

Very nice, clean and comfortable double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. David and Tania were nice and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Overall a very pleasant stay. Nice view of Abbey from window. Quiet location.

A Perfect Stay!

We enjoyed three nights at this lovely guest house during Whitby Folk Week. The location is so convenient for the town, and the owners are a smashing couple who made us very welcome. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we slept so well. The delicious breakfasts are freshly-cooked using quality local products and set you up for the day! Many thanks for your superb hospitality David and Tania.

Room tip: We were right on the top floor but found our room perfectly spacious and cool and comfortable although the weather was hot at the time.

Superb

We have just had a 3 night stay at the Waverley and found it perfect. The location, the welcome and the food were all exceptional, but above all David and Tania have equipped teach room superbly, with every last thing you could possibly need provided before you can ask, or even think of it. A perfect base for Whitby and the North Yorks Moors.
