We couldn't fault anything with this guest house. It was 5 mins walk into town. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the owners, who sorted us a parking permit straight away, then showed us to our room - the 4 poster bedroom. It was lovely, cosy and very clean. The breakfast was delicious too, there was fruit, cereal, and then the English breakfast, which consisted of bacon, eggs, beans, sausage, black pudding, mushroom & tomatoes, and then toast. This was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had.

Will definitely be going back soon.

Greeted upon arrival genuinely friendly people. Phil carried the cases upto the room whilst we parked up. Found the rooms to look newly decorated with good quality bedding and linen. The bed was comfortable, that comfortable we nearly missed breakfast!
The breakfast was first class the right size and good quality food.
4 mins walk to the town bridge.
Will look this place up again on our next visit to Whitby.

Everything was very good and we will try to return to this guest house when we are next in Whitby. The full English breakfast was very filling and the things (coffee ets) left in the bedroom was also very good. The couple running it were friendly.

Room Tip: I thing that all of the rooms will be very similar apart from the bed arrangement (double or single ets.)

as the slogans say it does what it sez on the tin. Beautifully refurbed since our 1st visit 8 years ago, this guest house is excellent value for money, clean, tidy and wonderful home cooked breakfasts. Nothing's too much trouble for Phil, who insisted on carrying our luggage to our room.
Parking wasn't a problem this time round as we got a scratchcard ticket permitting us to park in the street for up to 4 days, we were only there for 3. so handy for the shops down Skinner Street/Flowergate area, and a papershop at the end of the road for hubby's not to be missed morning paper.Cant wait to go back again, the large first floor front bedroom has a 4 poster bed and sofa and coffee table too, its like being in the Hilton!

Room Tip: only 2 rooms on 1st floor, others on 2nd floor. No lift available

I stayed here with my fiancée recently on a short bank holiday break for three nights. We paid slightly extra to have a larger room. The size of the room was fantastic, complete with a sofa - not that we spent much time there.

There is no off-street parking but we were given a token which enabled us to park on the street. Due to being a bank holiday weekend, parking was difficult and it was extremely busy. However, we also managed to get parked nearby, never any more than a 5 minute walk. The breakfast each morning was a feast. With the choice of tea/coffee, cereal, fruit, salmon, kippers or a full English fry up. Such was the large portion size, we often missed lunch and were able to wait for dinner.

A top little bed and breakfast in a brilliant location that enabled us to explore Whitby and the surrounding coastline brilliantly. Would certainly return.
