This holiday was our 2nd stay at Bramblewick ,as it's worth repeating.Dave and Sue are very welcoming. The rooms are spotless and cleaned each day whilst you are out.For breakfast you have a selection of fruit, cereal and juice.A choice of eggs, smoked salmon or full English and toast. With plenty of tea or coffee. That sets you up for the day.We will return as we know our holiday will be good regardless of the weather. There is always something to see and do.Plenty of places to eat at night but Bagdale hall and the Magpie really do stand out .Great holiday.

We got room seven right at the top of the hotel (attic). Beautiful room with great views Sue and Dave are excellent hosts and provide a second to none breakfast. Here's the but........ Our next door neighbours in room eight were very noisy ( more than the seagulls). They banged the bedroom door at every opportunity ,even late at night....jolting us awake....the door needs a self closer to sort the problem...

Room Tip: Don't have room seven if you have folk in room eight who bang doors or who talk really loudly

Dave and Sue extended a very warm welcome and during our 3 day stay, nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Our room (1) was very comfortable with a beautifully refurbished modern bathroom and best shower we've experienced in 3 weeks travelling in UK. Highly recommended.

This was our second visit to Bramblewick. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in Whitby. Sue and Dave are perfect hosts and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. Rooms are tastefully decorated, very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfasts are delicious. A fantastic stay from the warm welcome to the sad departure. We look forward to our next stay at Bramblewick.

My family are regular visitors to Bramblewick and the reason is very simple - quality accommodation, wonderful breakfasts and great hosts. Most of the bedrooms have now been upgraded to a very high standard with lovely bathrooms and furnishings. The guest lounge can be used at any time and is warm and very comfortable - a great bonus if the weather is not behaving itself! Sue and Dave run Bramblewick in a relaxed manner, offering daily advice on what's going on in Whitby. The selection at breakfast is wonderful with fresh fruit salad, yogurts and a selection of breads and jams on offer. The cooked breakfast arrives beautifully presented and hot.
The family will always class Bramblewick as one of its very favorite places to stay anywhere in the UK. Sorry, there are no children's activities or swimming pool as indicated below - I could not get rid of the rating completed in error!!

We had a fantastic weekend again at the Bramblewick - the sun even came out for our stay.
Sue and Dave were as usual absolutely brilliant hosts. We are always singing their praises and advising people to stay there if they can when in Whitby - can't find better.
Hope to see them again next year.
