too many kids allowed to run riot during the day. Barman eventually told parents to sort them out. (Parents were sat outside getting pi**ed)..... but my "quiet" pint with a paper was already ruined.

Arrived today at 12.25 for lunch with two friends as one of my friends had recommened the establishment and the steak pie. The three of us ordered the steak pie thinking that such a meal consisted of pastry, meat and thick gravy. The gravy within the pie was thinner than water!! We asked the young waitress if something was wrong with the dish, she checked with the chef, returned and in a gormlus manner told us "thats just the way the pie is", we explained that gravy is usually of a thicker nature and was there anything that could be done. She then went to ask the chef again, returned and told us that we could be refunded at the bar. We were upset by this as no alternative meal was offered. We headed to the bar for a refund for the bar man to to tell us that he didnt know how to refund onto a card and would call the manager. Again he seemed a little gormlus and not pleasant in the least. The male manager then appeared and rudely asked us what our problem was. He began with a terrible attitude as though we were in the wrong and asked us why we demanded a refund. I asked him why he was taking such an attitude with us and told him of our conversation with his young waitress. He then continued to be rude and slapped down three flyers which had the O'Grady name and address on and told us to write to that address and to inform our solicitors. I then informed him that i would not write to him as he was stood infront of me and that i wanted a solution now. He began to accuse us of sending the food back saying it was 'rubbish'. This word had never left our lips!! After my question of 'why are you being so rude to your customers?' he backed down and apologised and agreed to send us some lasagnes. This then took 45mins to arrive and was the stodgiest thing which i have ever seen!! The sauce and cheese was slapped on an inch thick and was very sickly. We attempted to dig for the pasta and mince which we found in clumps. Its safe to say that we left the meal and left the premises!! This was not a trip i shall be making again!!
