“Cosy cottage in a great location for exploring North Yorkshire”

Lovely cosy cottage which was clean, well equipped and in a great location for exploring North Yorkshire. Margaret was friendly and welcoming and the info on places to visit was so helpful. We visited Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Goathland and Scarborough. We also visited Falling Foss which was a little gem. Would definitely stay again :)

“Lovely, quiet cottage in a great location for exploring coast and countryside”

We spent a great few days with our young family, visiting the many beautiful coves and recommended sights. The cottage has great facilities and all you could need. Our children loved the treasure hunt and prizes. The games and puzzles cupboard a favourite too! We enjoyed a relaxing stay in a great cottage with comfortable beds and quality linen and towels.

“Cosy cottage in quiet village”
Reviewed 26 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Pretty little cottage, a few miles from Whitby, in a quiet area. The cottage itself is small but perfect for up to 4. We particularly liked the good quality beds and bedding, and appreciated the lovely decorative touches, as well as the small gift for my grand-daughter. Lovely little area outside to sit in the evening, weather permitting.

“Delightful cottage in peaceful village betwixt the moors and the sea.”
Reviewed 18 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

What a delight, booking and staying at Honeysuckle Cottage was. The accomodation was cosey, tastefully furnished and with everything you could want to enjoy a holiday. It was spotlessly clean and well laid out with a small decking area to the rear. We enjoyed the log burner on the cool evenings during early May. The village of Moorsholme is peaceful but within easy reach of the coast and the moors and with the supermarkets only a short distance away at Guisborough . Margaret was very helpful during the booking process which made our visit enjoyable from the off and we would certainly have no hesitation in staying again.

“Lovely coastal break”

We stayed at Honeysuckle Cottage for 3 nights in March. Lovely location, easy to find just off the main road into Whitby. Cute little cottage, perfect for a short break, we loved lighting the fire after a day of walking. Ideal location to visit all of the local sites, but away from the hustle and bustle. We visited Whitby, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Sandsend, nice carvery at the Water Wheel Inn. Friendly neighbours. Our daughter loved doing the treasure hunt organised by Margaret. We even left something there which Margaret has very kindly posted back to us.
