The location is amazing. It looked stunning from the distance. I was amazed how massive this abbey is when I went inside. The audio guide was helpful. I recommend getting one. It was included with the admission fee.

Bank holiday Sunday. WOW! Fantastic! Fabulous way to spend a day. A fantastic adaptation of Stoker's 'Dracula' by some very talented thespian, depicting the story in various parts of the Abbey using a walking theatre of 3, interacting with their audience. Plenty of humour, great for the children as well as the adults. Well

Last time visited the entrance used to be at the bottom of the car park.
Now had to walk longer distance to the entrance and then gain access to the abbey via the visitors centre.
Clearly others also struggled with finding how to access the abbey as got asked a couple of times how to get in.
Once made it into the grounds, got some stunning photos but due to being a sunny day, was quite busy.
Would have to be there first or last thing to get some photos without people or buggies in them.
English Heritage member so cheap entry, just shame didn't get parking fee back like at other places.
Plus had to rush round a bit as took so long walk down and find way in, parking ticket was running out.
