Exactly what we had in mind - beautiful views across the sea, a genuine and friendly hostess, 5 minute walk into the heart of town and all at a very fair price. Would definitely return/recommend to friends. Also - Magpie Cafe is only a minute down the road and one of, if not the best seafood restaurant in town!

Just returned home from my second stay in no7 in as many weeks. It is just what every traveler needs. A friendly welcome a clean room with a clean and comfortable bed and great breakfast. I am a solo traveler and I stay in room 4 this is a single room it is compact but has everything that you need. It is light and airy plenty of wardrobe space to hang cloths etc flat screen TV. Great hospitality tray with choices of Yorkshire tea in a caddy not the little bags with strings on coffee hot chocolate and biscuits. Your hosts are Lynne and George and the make you feel welcome the minute you walk in they give you all the information that you need for your room and if you need to now where to now the places to eat the will tell you that as well.
So if you are looking for a great place to stay in Whitby at a reasonable price no 7 is the place. so much so that I am book in for the next 3 weekends

This place is lovely, Lynne is so chatty and kind, with great ideas of where to go, as well as giving cute stories about the history of the house and it's Dracula connections. The room itself was nicely decorated and the bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in! Would definitely recommend x
