The best Landlord and Landlady in Whitby in my opinion, recently taken over and what a great atmosphere,we had a great time and nothing was too much trouble for the pair of them. Room was spotless with Harbour views.
Looking forward to going back very soon.

This is another pub that I haven't yet stayed at, so I can't really rate the rooms. The pub is very smart inside & out & very clean. I heard from several locals that before the new owners took over, the place was a dive.

We were greeted by a very friendly Landlady behind the bar when we walked in & beer was cheap too. The second night we went in for a drink, we enquired about room prices & availability, without thinking twice the landlady ran upstairs & brought her diary down & then offered to show us one of the rooms, bearing in mind this was at half past ten at night!

Oh & whatever you do, don't even think of going next door to the Jolly Sailors for a cheap pint, the Landlord ain't so Jolly!

I stayed here on the 11th June with 4 other girls; we came over for a night out. Staying in this hotel was great as Julie & Stephen were lovely and extremely welcoming. The rooms were very clean and modern, En suite was also very nice, and Bed was big and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this to a friend, and always stay here whenever we come back to whitby. We went out for drinks then came back to the hotel for abit of karaoke; out of all the pubs we went to that night the Bucc Inn by far had the best atmosphere. The views across the harbor were also fantastic!

We stayed for a weekend over easter and was very happy with our accomadation. the inn was slap bang in the centre of whitby overlooking the harbour and very much to our supprise has its own little car park which saves a lot of money and hassle of finding parking in a busy town. We had our own front door key so there was no need to go into pub to get to our room and could come and go at our lesure. It was nice having the pub downstairs, and the food in there was excellent. There was no breakfast but a selection of ceareal, milk, yoghurts, orange juice etc. was available in the fridge in the room, which suited us because coming in at 2 in the morning after a great night out the last thing we wanted was to have to get up and eat breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean and Would definately stay here again, if fact have already booked and are bringing some friends along too.

My partner and I stayed in a number of places over a week long road trip and the Buck Inn was by far the best. Gorgeous clean room with an amazing harbour view, en-suite and a mini fridge filled with goodies. Free parking is available at the rear of the Buck Inn for customers which is brilliant considering the location. Julie and Steven were more than fantastic in their hospitality, they made us feel at home from the moment we walked through the door, doing everything they could to make sure we had a perfect stay in Whitby. We have already recommended the Buck Inn to our friends and family and will definately be staying there again in the near future.

**** Geuine Review ****

You can contact me to verify.

We booked as a last resort, so we were not expecting much, we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean modern and bright with an excellent view of the harbour. Yes there is no internet and or phone ( everyone has a mobile now anyway ) but there is a TV, a good hot shower and a very comfortable bed.
It is in the middle of everything you would want do.

Quality eating and drinking establishments are a plenty with no complaints. The last point needs highlighting, because one of our party is one the hardest people I know to please, he will complain at the drop of a hat about just about anything, and will make his feelings known to staff/management in no uncertain terms. We had a great time.
