Well organised, well informed, well equipped, very tidy, very clean...the compliments go on. We are already looking at booking again. Really impressed with the house and the location is equally impressive. Everything has been thought of from the instructions to the garlic crush to the bath robes to the wii! Thanks for a relaxing trip away.

We had a family get together here in York for a special birthday. The house was perfect for our needs. Beds and bedding luxurious, kitchen spotless and everything you could possibly want to hand. Showers hot and powerful, bath if you wanted one. Centre of York 5 minutes walk away. We only took the car out once to go to Castle Howard, All in all a fantastic house and hope to return sometime soon.

This is now our second visit to this well presented, well equipped house during the Easter Holidays. However, first time we visited in 2012, I never got around to review the property on TA.

We were welcomed by Patrick & Helen, the house was still as well equipped and clean as the first visit. You can't fault the location nor the permit parking as parking in York can be very expensive and limited.

We never had an issue finding a space near the house, even with the other options of parking in other areas.

The house was lovely and warm with plenty of hot water available and reliable wifi. My son especially liked the wii to play on in the evening, after having to be dragged away from his x-box!!!!

We were especially appreciative of the milk and biscuits on arrival, so we could make ourselves a drink before heading into York. Communication with Patrick prior to our visit was prompt.

We dined out during the day and evening, and can highly recommend Rustique, which is just a few minutes walk from the property (28 Castlegate) & Delrio's which is about a 15 minute walk on Blossom Street.

The kitchen was only used during breakfast, but,had everything we needed to prepare it.

Thank you for such another enjoyable stay and we hope to be back soon.

A group of 8 of us stayed for a long weekend. We found the accommodation to be extremely comfortable and well catered for, having everything we needed for our stay. The location, just a few minutes walk from the city centre is great, along with the river views. Not great if members of your party isn't good with stairs though with the bedrooms on the 3rd and 4th floors. At least there was a toilet on each of the floor levels. Beware of the low beams in the attic room and the shower up there wasn't great, but I guess the water had a long way to go to get all the way up there. A very pleasant stay.

wonderful place to stay with loads of equipment, even for children. excellent location with river view, near York city center. Kitchen and bathroom could do with a bit more lighting. Three big bedrooms over two floors. one free parking on the street.

I found this beautiful house on I Know Yorkshire which is available to let for short stays. The owner - Patrick couldn't have been more helpful, from booking right through to meeting us personally at the house on our day of arrival. The house was beautifully furnished and provided absolutely everything, even a selection of DVD's and a Wii. You simply need only your clothes & slippers! I had booked for 3 nights for our family of 8 for a pre Christmas get together and we all had an amazing time. Lovely views from the rooms looking out over the river, lovely & quiet location away from main roads but 2 mins away from Coppergate. There is a guest book in the sitting room and does not have any negative reviews left by previous guests. Fabulous location on the rivers edge in the centre of York, highly reccommended, can't wait to return. Thank you Patrick & Helen.
