We had a dinner here in August 2014.
This family business comprises a delicatessen on the ground floor and the restaurant on the first floor.
There were four of us in our party and the food was excellent. We started with Antipastini Della Casa, which is a selection of items from the deli. It was tasty, plentiful and very fresh. We all had different mains - all were very good, and the home made pasta was excellent.
The desserts too were very good, with the bread and butter pudding from the specials menu being extra delicious!
Little Italy is definitely worth going to, and we will be returning soon. It serves very good food which couldn't be faulted, and its reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful (without any prompting from us they even offered to show us the pasta when we said we hadn't heard of the type before). And the location is very convenient, being within the city walls and only a couple of minutes walk from York Minster.
