Stayed for one Monday night in November at £29. The room was spotless, spacious and quiet being round the back. There's really nothing to complain about. It's five minutes down Micklegate into town and the same to the station. Check-in took one minute and for breakfast the following morning we went to the Blossom Street Cafe about two doors away. Their mini-breakfast is plenty for anyone and tasty. We'll be back here for our next visit.

Room Tip: Go round the back as the front is on the main road into York

Blossom Street North and South are ideally located, very close to the Railway Station, a few minutes walk, and within 10 minutes walk into the centre via Micklegate. The Long Boat Restaurant is very handy attached to Blossom Street South and a good Costa Coffee shop, both with very friendly and helpful staff. The Hotel is clean, rooms comfortable and modern. The staff in all areas are friendly and helpful.

Both of the Premier Inns in York are ideally situated for the train station and city centre but far enough from the centre to be fairly quiet. We didnt use the restaurant at the south hotel but the Costa coffee at the North hotel was comfortable and friendly.
Very helpful, friendly staff at the reception and the cleaning staff were accommodating.
Great selection of pubs and restaurants nearby - can highly recommend Saffron Indian on Micklegate - 5 minutes walk away.
Reasonably priced especially if you book early. If all you really want is somewhere to rest after a busy day it is ideal.

Last week visited York for 4 days and stayed at Premier Inn Blossom Street South. The staff there were most friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Ate in the restaurant on the 4 nights we were there and the food was good and reasonably priced. As restuarant also used by non residents advise that you book a table. The hotel is ideally located for seeing the sights of York and only a short walk from Railway Station. For those who don't want to have the 'All you can eat breakfast' there is a small cafe about 30 yards down the road (on other side of the cinema) which does reasonably priced bacon rolls etc. The is a small Sainsburys nearby for newpapers etc. Enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Only criticism is that Hotel could be more generous with tea bags, coffee and sugar in rooms. Only two of each supplied so trip to reception necessary to get more.

We stayed here with a group of friends. The Premier Inn was exactly what you'd expect; clean and functional and nice and quiet too. No complaints - for a weekend break this is what you want if you plan to spent the days sightseeing and just need a comfortable place to crash.

The station is about 15 minutes walk away, and the city centre about the same,

Returned from a weekend stay, cannot fault the place at all. Excellent service. Very relaxing and quiet hotel just what we wanted for the weekend break, the room was very clean. Great location, nice walk to main part of the city, the train station is a five minute walk away.
Overall cannot fault the hotel, and would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Email or ring hotel prior to your stay if you are wanting for example twin beds instead of double, o...

Stayed here on a Saturday night and to my surprise never heard a noise all night. No surprises on what you got as far as room/amenities etc. but it should be said all the staff were polite and helpfully and the room was very clean. Good location for the train station and town both only a short walk away. Ajoining bar although a little bland was also very clean and made an ok spot for the last drink of the night. All in all a highly recommended premier inn.
