Stayed over a weekend. Checking in was easy using the automated system. Room was quiet at the back of the hotel away from Blossom Street. The room was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and they have a choice of pillows. The hotel is new.We didn't eat at the pub but had a few drinks. The pub/restaurant had a modern feel about it.Very easy to walk into the City centre, about 10 minutes. Lots of great restaurants and pubs closeby. We were able to leave our luggage safely at the Hotel after checkout so we could walk around York. Very close to the train station. Would definately stay there again if in York.

This Premier Inn is pretty new and the rooms and public areas were clean, fresh and pleasant. I had a really well-sized room and bathroom, with a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom.
The hotel is really convenient for the station (only a few hundred yards away) and a 10-15 min walk from the city centre. Parking is located at the sister hotel (Blossom Street North) a couple of doors up the road, and whilst not free (£8 Pay & Display for 24hrs) there were a few spaces available on return at midnight on a weekday.
The advance booking rate was only approx £40, which is fantastic value when I consider that I have stayed in many worse 4* hotels.

Room Tip: If distance from your car is an issue, choose Blossom Street North instead.

I'm not going to go into great detail, it's a Premier Inn at the end of the day. Staff were very helpful, hotel was clean, rooms was big and well presented. The best thing is the location, next to the station, near the main bars in the city. Although the most expensive Premier Inn I've stayed in at £95, York is a popular city and this is a great location.

There is no parking, but park in the NCP on Queen Street (next to the station) and the Premier Inn a Blossom Street North validate your ticket so it's £8.50 overnight.

Where to start? Every member of staff we met was friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel is new, comfortable and clean.Great food at the onsite Table, Table restaurant. Bar area, very attractive and comfortable. Good choice of food and drink.Great location, less than 5 min walk from station, Mickleburgh Gate entrance to town centre 1 min away, (open top) tourist bus stop 3 mins and the Reel cinema is right next door! And at £39 a room a night, fantastic!

This is a great hotel - very close to the city (and to lots of restaurants), and amazingly quiet, given that it's next to a busy road. There is quite a big car park behind the hotel, and an NCP car park close by as well. I was incredibly impressed by the customer service - way beyond expectations. I have food allergies and the duty manager went to a great deal of trouble to make sure that my needs were catered for. Excellent!!

Hotel is clean, nicely decorated, reasonable quality restaurant. They may be corporate but each Premier Inn is individual in my opinion. Stayed at North previously, South is newer and better. Room is good size, bed comfy, temperature/heating is on a par with other hotels. Breakfast good quality. Loved our stay.
