Booked ages in advance through a promotion so did not pay a lot for a hotel in york city centre.
Found the room well appointed, clean and with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again. Location excellent for the city.

Really good hotel if a bit expensive for a premier inn. Parking is a real problem with two premier inns together with only 25 parking spaces. Local parking charges are hefty too and not very close. Great restaurant and location. Would've liked to stay longer but prices were out of our range. Would recommend this hotel if you are coming by train..

We stayed here for one night. For £29 we couldn't complain. The room was clean, check-in was quick and there's parking available (at a charge). It's about a 10-15 minute walk into the city centre so convenient location if you don't mind walking.

A good night's sleep as promised. Clean but basic.

Not much storage space to unpack, but you can always live out of your suitcases. And if you want a bath you can buy bathfoam and shampoo at the Sainsbury's Local along the road. Oh, and you'll need your mobile if you want to call reception - there's no in-room phones.

Room Tip: Even the rooms overlooking the main road are well sound-proofed, so no real issues.

Stayed at this Premier Inn for 2 nights whilst visiting a friend. Hotel is on a busy main road but my room was overlooking the car park so didn't notice any noise. My room on the second floor was comfortable and the bed and pillows superb, as you had a choice of pillows from soft to harder depending on your preference. Price was reasonable as well. There were the usual drink facilities and hairdryer. The staff were very helpful especially Mennat (think that's her name) as I had to go to York Hospital drop in centre as soon as I arrived as my infected finger got worse and needed lancing and she called me a taxi. I didn't use the Table Table restaurant next door so cannot comment on that. It was also a perfect location to York Station about 8 minutes walk and to York Minster, National Railway Museum etc. Enjoyed my two nights and would stay there again should I visit York in the future.

Room Tip: Rooms on the front would be noisy as its on a busy main road

You know what you are going to get with a Premier Inn and Blossom Street is in a great central location if you want to explore York. I was there on business and the rates seemed higher than normal - probably as it was Easter and there were more families around. That said, the hotel did a good job at separating families from those on business and breakfast wasn't too busy. The main drawback is there is no parking. The 'North' hotel has a bit of parking but charges £9 per night. For those unfortunate enough not to find a space, you have to park around the corner in the NCP car park which the hotel will discount to £9 per night. Carting luggage back to the hotel was a pain. I was travelling alone but if you are travelling with a colleague/relative, then it would make it easier to drop off luggage at the front of the hotel before driving around to the car park.
If your room faces the back of the hotel, you might find the extractor fans / air-conditioning units noisy. I had to shut the window, but a colleague of mine stayed at the Blossom Street North and found it quieter.

Just returned from a great stay at the Premier Inn - Blossom St South. The hotel is well located, the staff are superb and the price was incredibly reasonable.

We had no issues from start to finish, everything was perfect.

This hotel is a great place to stay while exploring York!
