We visited in August with 3 x 6 year olds, 1 x 5 year old & 1 year old. Was not sure what to expect but it was fab! Lots to do for children of all ages a big bouncy pillow, a huge inflatable slide, which the kids loved but scared the life out of me!, inflatable maze, quad bike that even toddlers can ride with a adult, a great sand and water pit and climbing frames, monkey mayhem which is great - but be warned you will get wet, farm including pig racing and of course the maze. We were really impressed with the staff, they were very enthusiastic and really helpful, which is a real plus to any attraction. Food from the BBQ was great and very reasonable, you usually find once they have you trapped in these places you get rubbish food at a rip off price but York Maze seem to have got the balance just right. Only a couple of down sides, firstly it can get busy, but the longest we queued was about 15mins, so not too bad. However at lunch time it is a fight for a seat, especially in the covered area. They also seem to have a wasp problem and unfortunately two of the children did get stung. But they soon cheered up and moved onto the next adventure! Overall I would recommend York Maze, we live close by and are thinking of buying a family season ticket for next year. It’s a simple concept, but it works, we all had great fun. A really great family day out.
