This is a beautiful little pocket of greenery very near to the Minster. We wandered through on the way back to our hotel and were so excited to see the amount of squirrels there which were so tame! The gardens are well kept and are obviously really enjoyed by all who visit.

I'm not going to feed that cute pigeon with the leg tag that's lost it's way anymore. There has been another autumn cull again, so encouraging them only ends in an early death for the intelligent dove. The squirrel population seem fit and healthy. An urban enclave of beauty, safe for toddler's with railings between the river and the lawn. This place has zones for every age group to have a special outside place.

This is one of that places that you can enjoy without spending any money, if you leave the car on Marygate car park the short cut to the town centre is thought the garden.

The Museum gardens looked fantastic with all the rich autumn colours, lots of birds and squirrels among the bushes and the ruins of St Mary's Abbey
