Hi Sandra,
Just a personal thanks for the recent weekend's stay at your apartment. We have thoroughly enjoyed York this year and found our stay at your home fantastic. A great location and living space with lots of historical charm of the building, with secure parking a bonus.
You catered for our late arrival and when we arrived all went smooth with parking car and getting into apartment, when in found lights on for us and nice and warm. Plenty of items left in kitchen for drinks and well equipped for cooking.
We have visited York every Xmas for the last eight years and stayed in lots' of different houses, Hotels and apartments and have paid double of your price on some ocasions and have not had the benefits and location yours has to offer. We will defiantly be back next year.

We agree with most of the other reviews. The location is fabulous! 1 block from city walls, close to shops and restaurants, and next door to Sanisburys supermarket. Quiet spot (except some construction on Sainsburys -- not too much of a problem) off main street. Also close to the Minster, other superstores and car hire businesses. Nice to have a parking spot, a lift, and 2 bathrooms. Mezzanine sleeping quarters could be an issue with some, but wasn't for us. Flat had everything we needed for a good price, and we had a super time!

Update. Sainsbury's (our added bonus)) had a complete refit, but it is completed now and all is quiet again:) With regard to the mezzanine, most people absolutely love it!!! but for those who are unsure there is always the 3rd bedroom.

I stayed here with my girlfriend and her parents for 4 nights during June. The apartment was spotless and very spacious. The Sainsbury's next to the building was really handy, and we used the kitchen every morning to cook breakfast and then head out. Minster was only a couple of minutes walk away, and all of the pubs and restaurants are really close too, so the location really is perfect. There was nothing negative to stay about our stay.
