This is a great tour for Gentleman Jack fans. Sarah our guide was lovely and was a mine of information. Although we live in York, we found ourselves in places we didn't know and we were even able to go upstairs above an estate agents! Sarah pointed out plaques and buildings which were of interest, both historically and more recently for the television production. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Spent about 2.5 hours yesterday walking the streets of York hearing about Anne's time in York and a bit about the locations where the series "Gentleman Jack" was shot. There were also chances to stop by areas not generally accessible to the public to get a better idea of some of the places she spent her time.
Our tour guide Sarah was knowledgeable and very personable and willing to answer questions. My partner who's first language isn't English could understand and follow the tour easily. (Meaning Sarah didn't have an overly thick accent which sometimes makes this difficult.) She also spoke slowly and loud enough to make sure everyone could hear.
Overall, it was a great experience and I would go on a tour with Sarah again.

Fascinating tour of places in York connected with Anne Lister, some with private access just for us. Two and a half hours of walking and listening to very well-researched information delivered sympathetically. Despite it being a cold day, and a Saturday to boot, we circled around the centre of York pretty easily and managed perfect timing. Would definitely recommend.
