My partner and I got in for free as we have a NT membership, but I wouldn't have been disappointed if I'd paid the full price. It's a lovely house with lots of interesting features. Our tour guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. I wish the tour had lasted a bit longer, as there seemed to be little time to contemplate and look around; but we probably learnt more from our guide than we would have from the usual cards. We could not access some rooms - they're closed at the moment - but the few we saw were lovely, and the history of the house and of its owners was very entertaining. We didn't have time to go on the Cellar tour, which is a shame as it seems to be really good and atmospheric, but we'll probably come back another day for that.
