Was in York to attend the theatre, so only stayed for one night.
The hotel was well signed and easy to find. Received a lovely welcome upon arrival and was offered coffee and delicious home made cake. The communal areas of the hotel were clean and well presented, as was our room. The decor was in keeping with the building, ie full of charm and the bathroom was clean and modern (shower was excellent).
Breakfast was a hot and cold buffet and was delicious. The staff were really attentive and made sure our coffee and toast was kept topped up.
