This was so unexceptional but such a wonderful place the way it has been set out is fantastic. You get on a little open train and it slowly goes through a Viking village which has been so well done and the figures are so life like I felt myself smiling at them. It is one of the must visits when going to york AMAZING

This is a must for in York. The lines can be long but they often have live actors to keep you entertained. Inside it is interesting and a fun ride with the sights, sounds and smells of the Vikings. If you've not been it really is a must.

Excellent museum. Staff are lovely, place is great to visit, loved boat ride. Just there are nowhere near enough toilets? There are 2 disabled/child toilets and only 1 gents 1 ladies, surely there should be more?

Thank Lynn M
